Terms & Conditions
People With Spark
Last updated: 6 September 2026
Welcome to People With Spark.
We create spaces where people can pause, explore what matters to them, connect with others and turn their ideas into something real. These Terms & Conditions explain how our workshops, community meetups and other events work.
We’ve tried to keep them simple and easy to understand. If anything is unclear, just reach out to us at hey@peoplewithspark.com.
By registering for one of our events, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who we are
People With Spark is operated by:
Gabrijela Grgaca
IČO: 17462401
Registered address: Purkynova 2530/91, Brno, Czech Republic
Email: hey@peoplewithspark.com
Website: www.peoplewithspark.com
Throughout these Terms, we refer to ourselves as “People With Spark”, “we”, “us” or “our”.
2. Our events
We organise personal-development workshops, community meetups and other events designed to help people explore themselves, their ideas and their potential.
Depending on the event, this might include reflection exercises, conversations, group activities, networking, presentations or simply having a good conversation with interesting people.
Each event page will tell you everything you need to know about that particular event — including the date, time, location, content, duration and price.
3. Registering for an event
Event registration is managed through Luma.
When you register, please make sure that the information you provide is accurate so that we can contact you if needed.
For paid events, your place is confirmed once your payment has been successfully completed, unless the event page says otherwise.
We may have a limited number of places available, so registering for an event does not automatically guarantee a place if the event has already reached its capacity.
4. Payment
The price of each paid event is shown on the event registration page before you complete your registration.
Payments are processed securely through Stripe, which is integrated with Luma.
Once your payment has been successfully completed, you will receive confirmation of your registration.
5. Free community meetups
Many of our community meetups are free.
Even when there is no fee, some meetups may have a limited number of places. If this is the case, places will be allocated according to the registration conditions shown on the event page.
If you’ve registered but later realise you can’t make it, please cancel your registration or let us know. It helps us give your place to someone else who would love to join.
6. If you can’t make it
We understand that life happens and plans change.
For paid events, the cancellation and refund conditions will be clearly stated on the relevant event page.
Unless a different policy is stated for a particular event:
- More than 7 days before the event: you can request a full refund.
- 7 days or less before the event: the ticket is generally non-refundable.
- If something unexpected happens, feel free to contact us. We’ll consider exceptional circumstances individually.
You can also ask us whether your place can be transferred to another person. Please contact us before the event so we can arrange this properly.
Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded under Czech or EU law.
7. The 14-day withdrawal period
For some online purchases, consumers have a statutory 14-day right to withdraw from a contract.
However, Czech consumer law provides exceptions for certain leisure activities provided on a specific date or during a specific period. As our workshops and events normally take place on specific dates, this withdrawal right may not apply to a particular event.
Where a statutory right of withdrawal does apply, we will of course respect it.
8. If we need to change or cancel an event
Sometimes things don’t go according to plan.
We may need to change, postpone or cancel an event because of circumstances such as illness, venue availability, insufficient registrations or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
If we cancel a paid event, you will receive a refund for the amount you paid for that event.
If we postpone an event, we may offer you a place at the new date instead. You can decide whether the new date works for you.
Please note that we cannot cover additional costs connected with attending an event, such as travel, accommodation or other personal expenses.
9. Taking care of our community
People With Spark is built around people — and we want it to be a place where people feel comfortable being themselves.
We ask everyone who joins us to:
- treat others with kindness and respect;
- be open to different experiences and perspectives;
- give others space to speak and be heard;
- avoid harassment, discrimination or inappropriate behaviour;
- respect anything personal that another participant chooses to share.
We may ask someone to leave an event if their behaviour seriously disrupts the experience or makes others feel unsafe or unwelcome.
10. What our workshops are — and aren’t
Our workshops are designed for personal development, reflection, learning and connection.
They are not a substitute for medical, psychological, legal, financial or other professional advice.
You decide what you take from our workshops and what actions you choose to take afterwards. Your journey is your own.
11. Photos and recordings
We sometimes take photographs or recordings at our events to capture the atmosphere and share what People With Spark is about with others.
If photography or recording is taking place, we’ll let participants know.
If you don’t want to appear in promotional photographs or recordings, simply let us know. We’ll do our best to make sure your preference is respected.
12. Our materials
We put a lot of thought into our workshops and the materials that come with them — including workbooks, exercises, presentations, frameworks, graphics and other content.
These materials belong to People With Spark or their respective creators unless stated otherwise.
You’re very welcome to use them for your own personal development.
Please don’t copy, sell, publish, distribute or use them commercially without asking us first.
13. Your responsibility
We will do our best to create meaningful, well-organised and enjoyable events.
At the same time, participation in our events is your own responsibility. To the extent permitted by law, we cannot be responsible for indirect or consequential losses resulting from participation in an event.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where the law does not allow us to do so.
14. Your privacy
When you register for an event, we collect information we need to organise the event and communicate with you.
Registration is managed through Luma, while payments are processed through Stripe.
Your personal information may therefore also be processed by these services in accordance with their own privacy policies.
You can find more information about how we handle your personal data in our Privacy Policy.
15. Something doesn’t feel right?
If you have a question, concern or complaint, we’d much rather hear from you than leave you frustrated.
Please contact us at:
We’ll do our best to understand the situation and find a fair solution.
If a consumer dispute cannot be resolved directly, you may have access to the applicable consumer dispute-resolution procedures under Czech law.
16. Which law applies?
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic.
If you are a consumer living in another EU country, this does not take away any mandatory consumer protection rights that apply to you under the law of your country.
17. Changes to these Terms
As People With Spark grows, these Terms may occasionally need to change too.
When you register for an event, the version of the Terms available at that time will apply to your registration.
18. We’d love to hear from you
Questions? Something isn’t clear? Just say hello.
